If you are planning to travel to Massachusetts, you should definitely take time to be in the Berkshires. It is so beautiful with its mountains, waterfalls, little mom and pop stores. I love going to hike in the Berkshires. That would have been evident with my post on the Race Brook Falls. As with any hike, I love the part where you are delighted to find a little organic restaurant that makes Vegetarian food. This is one of those times, with the River Bend Café. It’s a small mom and pop store that if you are not hungry and you are new to the place, you would miss it. As for us, we were very hungry and had to keep our eyes peeled for some good food.

I got the Veggie Burger salad, which is cut up burgers with greens, cukes, cheese, tomatoes and onions topped with Balsamic vinaigrette. The most I liked about this salad is the tofu veggie burger which was not hard, but super soft and chewy. It so different from anything I have eaten.

The best thing of all? The Blueberry smoothie in Soy milk. I have no idea what all went in there, but it was absolutely divine!!
