Here is the second edition of Grillin-Sunday. My neighbor really wanted to do kebabs, although she had a different idea of a kebab than me. But since I manned the grill, I think my way won!! Smile We had so much fun slathering the marinade on to the veggies and making them in to a kebab. We had it with a simple salad with mint dressing and iced tea. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • Zucchini – Cut in to half moons
  • Yellow Squash – Cut in to half moons
  • Grape Tomatoes
  • Paneer (Indian Cheese)
  • Red pepper – cut in to large squares (or green or yellow or orange – whatever floats your boat)
  • Onion – Cut in to Quarters
  • Mushrooms (if you like ‘em, like my neighbor)
  • Marinade
    • Greek Yogurt – 2 to 3 Cups (based on your veggies)
    • Turmeric – 1 tsp (per cup)
    • Salt to taste
    • Chilli Powder – 1 tsp

Putting It Together

  • This step is really simple
  • Takes some really long grilling skewers
  • Marinade the vegetables for an hour
  • Skewer the vegetables sideways
  • Put them on the grill on high heat, until charred
  • Serve hot
